MatraX Heavy Cat 30

A lubricant developed for use in transmissions, shafts, oil bath brakes and hydraulic systems requiring compliance with the Caterpillar TO-4 and the Detroit Diesel Allison C-4 specifications.

Performance Features and Benefits

1. Significantly improved friction and wear resistance: compared with fluids requiring compliance with the Caterpillar TO-2 specification

Less brake noise: helps eliminate noise and ensure smoothness during braking when compared with fluids requiring compliance with the Caterpillar TO-2 specification; it also reduces the weakening of the binding agent of paper components, as well as elastomer weakness, extending the equipment’s useful life
3. Friction performance control: it has different friction modifiers (metallic and non-metallic) that allow for an excellent slip performance when clutching, loading or sliding
4. Protection against wear and deposit formation: formulated to reduce both wear and deposit formation
5. Excellent low-temperature fluidity: smoother starts with less wear in cold temperatures to extend the useful life of the transmission
6. High resistance to foaming: high air release without excessive foaming to facilitate hydraulic power transmission
