2020 Styrian F1 GP: Crushing superiority of Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton led the double of Mercedes with great authority in the 2020 Styrian F1 GP, second appointment of the updated calendar, played last Sunday at the Red Bull Ring Circuit, Spielberg.

After the British came his teammate Valtteri Bottas, ahead of Red Bull’s Dutchman, Max Verstappen, who completed the places of honor. Skimming the podium finished the other blue car driven by Alex Albon, but at a great distance from his leader.

For his part, we could see a great performance by Lando Norris (McLaren). The young Briton finished fifth after beating the Racing Points of Sergio Pérez (sixth) and Lance Stroll (seventh) and the Renault of Daniel Ricciardo (eighth) in the last two laps. These last three crossed the finish line practically at the same time in a very exciting arrival.

In short, a coup by authority from Mercedes and its English driver who signed a perfect weekend that started with his stratospheric pole position in the deluge at Spielberg.

By contrast, Red Bull was powerless to stand up to the Germans. Worse were the Ferrari at the 2020 Styrian F1 GP. Debacle and new ridicule. Both red cars have been knocked out of action by colliding with each other on the first lap of the Grand Prix.
