2020 Hungarian F1 GP: Hamilton, victory, record and leadership

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton became new Driver´s standings leader aftrer easily won the 2020 Hungarian F1 GP on Sunday, adding his eighth win in the Hungaroring, second in a row this year, making him the leader of the General and equaling the record for victories on the same circuit of German Michael Schumacher.

The second place went to a magnificent Max Verstappen, who has managed to overcome a crash in the warm up lap which damaged his RB16. The mechanics were able to repair the car in record time and the Dutchman returned the favor by going up from seventh place in a great performance.

The opposite can be said of the third classified at the 2020 Hungarian F1 GP : Valtteri Bottas. With a much superior car, the Finn has been unable to overtake the Dutchman, after starring in a poor start that forced him to climb from the middle of the pack.

As for Ferrari, Sebastian Vettel has saved the situation with his sixth place, five positions ahead of his partner Charles Leclerc at the 2020 Hungarian F1 GP.

In short, Mercedes’ third win that shows their overwhelming superiority. They have no rival.
