Just a few hours apart, McLaren also trained on Thursday at the Silverstone (England) racetrack.
Curiously, Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris have not driven a Formula 1 car, but one of the Carlin team’s Formula 3.
The same British stage had hosted the Racing Point trials on the previous day (Wednesday 17 June). Lance Stroll and his current RP2020 filmed a 100km spot.

For his part, the Renault racer Esteban Ocon rolled on that same date in the Austrian Red Bull Ring. With a 2018 RS18 he completed 143 laps and 614 kilometers – distance equivalent to two Grand Prixes. His teammate Daniel Ricciardo had started the testing week on Tuesday with 115 turns and 500 km.
