Our MatraX International lubricant range for light-duty vehicles is just one of the nine, automotive sector product lines that make up our catalogue, the others being; heavy-duty engines, manual and automatic transmissions, motorcycles for two and four-stroke engines, industry, agricultural machines, specialties and greases.
We have a total of nineteen different labels (100% synthetic and mineral oils) for both petrol and diesel engines of commercial and industrial vehicles. Our products are developed using cutting-edge technology and bespoke formulations to provide the greatest level of mechanical protection, reducing friction, wear and corrosion.
One of our oils’ key properties is their extraordinary thermal stability, which allows them to maintain the viscosity of the oil film, even under the most severe weather conditions. This thermal stability is especially efficient when starting the vehicle, a process that generates greater erosion of the internal elements of the engine.
At the same time, our lubricants help to minimise any loss of power, extending the life of the vehicle and reducing fuel consumption. Naturally, they also aid the engine to operate more efficiently preventing mechanical faults.

It is because of this that we have developed products such as oils with a low content of Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus and Sulphur (Low SAPS), which are required by the most modern engines under the Euro V and VI Emission Standards’ regulations.
In the same way, we also offer products that have been specifically formulated for vehicles equipped with a particle filter, those incorporating a start & stop system, those that require fuels with a high content of ethanol or methanol as well as those with TDI / GTI engines.
The extraordinary properties of our lubricants for commercial cars have earned them both the European ACEA and the American API certifications, complying with the specifications of global automobile manufacturers such a BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Porsche, Volkswagen, Seat, Renault, Peugeot, Citroën, Alfa Romeo or Volvo, among other prestigious brands.
Furthermore, our lubricants have also received the international quality certificate ISO 9001: 2008 from AENOR (Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification) which guarantees not only the quality of the products but also the efficiency of the production processes.
