There are a total of fourteen races spread across Europe, Asia, America and Oceania scheduled for the 2019 World Rally Championship calendar. As tradition dictates, the inaugural date will be the Rally of Monte Carlo in January. 

In February, it will be the turn of the Swedish Rally, the only other winter stop of the championship besides Monte Carlo. After that, and before the summer holidays the competition will cross the ocean to Mexico and later move on to Corsica, Argentina, Chile, Portugal, Sardinia and Finland.

The chequered flag will come down for the last time in mid-November at the Australian finale after almost eleven months of competition. This year there is a new race in the WRC calendar; Chile, scheduled for early May whereas the Japanese Rally has been crossed, quite unexpectedly, off this years’ schedule. After the three-week summer break, the decisive second stage of the 2019 WRC will begin with races in Germany, Turkey, Wales and Spain.

All of the races of the 2019 World Rally Championship will be disputed on a single surface, with the exception of the Spanish Rally, in which there will be a mix of terrains. This year’s WRC is sure to bring plenty of excitement and thrilling moments for all the fans around the world. Sébastien Loeb, the most successful rally driver in history (nine titles) debuts with Hyundai.

Also, Sébastien Ogier, defending champion and six times WRC winner is back with Citroën. Thierry Neuville will continue his fight to stop being the eternal sub-champion (2016,2017 and 2018) and Ott Tänak (Toyota) is very eager to win his first title.
