Marc and Álex Márquez back to drive two months later

The Repsol-Honda MotoGP team riders, Marc and Álex Márquez, resumed their trainings this past Tuesday, after two and a half months (March 11) without riding a motorcycle due to the confinement decreed by the crisis of the coronavirus.

Thus, the ’73’ and the ’93’ have returned to practice motocross on a dirt track in Lleida in order to continue their physical preparation for the start of the World Cup, scheduled for July 19 at the Spanish Grand Prix.

The current MotoGP champion has expressed his maximum happiness for rolling again:

After two months, honestly, it was a bit strange at first to be on the motorcycle again, especially on the first few laps. However, I immediately felt more comfortable, since all my muscles and my mind began to remember everything. It was really nice to be able to drive again. ”

For his part, the youngest of the Marquez Brothers also wanted to publicly describe his satisfaction:

It was great to return to a more normal training and it was also a real pleasure to return to a motocross track. When what you do is your passion, you enjoy it a lot, so going back to driving has been very special, we need the bike in our lives. For at least a while, it was like everything was normal. ”
