The promoter of the sport has released an updated calendar of the updated calendar of the 2020 WRC that underpins the second part of a season lashed by the coronavirus crisis.
The main novelty lies in the inclusion of the Rally Estonia (September 4-6), which will mark the resumption of the competition. The Baltic event bursts into the Championship supported by the opinions of the local hero and defender of the crown Ott Tänak, (Hyundai Motorsport).
The event, based in Tartu, to the east of the country, will have the service park at the National Museum. Against the usual format of three days, it will be played in just two (Saturday and Sunday), after the opening event on Friday.
Then comes the turn of Turkey (24-27 September) and Germany (15 to 18 October), before giving way to Italy- Sardinia (29 October-1 November), one of the positive surprises of the day.

Although it usually takes place in the summer, the island race has found a place in the European autumn.
And as planned -with the permission of the pandemic- the Updated calendar of the 2020 WRC will be closed in Japan (November 19-22). On the contrary, it has been reported the definitive withdrawal of Argentina.
If these forecasts are completed, the specialty would have these eight races to deliver a title with a certain weight that will also save a chaotic season.
