2020 F1 Austrian GP: Great victory for Mercedes and Bottas

The Finnish Mercedes driver, Valtteri Bottas, has won with great authority the 2020 Austrian F1 GP, opening race of the course, played this Sunday at the Red Bull Ring Circuit.

The podium was completed by a surprising Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and a sensational Lando Norris (McLaren), who knew how to take advantage of the three interventions of the safety car to conquer his first podium in the Premier Category.

Lewis Hamilton was on the verge of victory at 2020 F1 Austrian GP. The Briton, who had crossed the finish line in second position, received a five-second sanction that relegated him to fourth place after colliding with Alex Albon’s Red Bull.

The other orange car of the Spanish Carlos Sainz, who has finished fifth, has also been sensational, although he has been slowed down by Norris in the last few laps, which has deprived him of fighting for the ‘drawer’.

The sixth place has been won by the Racing Point of Checo Pérez, who came to have options to get on the podium until the death rattles of the test. However, the wear and tear on his tires left him without that more than deserved award.

Pierre Gasly (Alpha Tauri), Esteban Ocon (Renault), Antonio Giovinazzi (Alfa Romeo) and Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) completed the ten places that entitle the points. The latter has had a day to forget at 2020 F1 Austrian GP.
