The MotoGP World Championship works on a calendar for 2020 that would consist of twelve rounds, seven of them within our borders. The curtain of the championship would rise on July 19 at the Jerez Circuit, as part of the Spanish Grand Prix. Just seven days later, the Cádiz track would also host the first Grand Prix of Andalusia.

After the double date, the World Cup would travel to the Czech Republic, where a single race would be held before traveling to Austria. There, the Red Bull Ring at Spielberg would host two races on consecutive weekends.

Later, the championship would return to Spain where the Circuit of Barcelona-Catalonia would host a single race. From Montmeló MotoGP would jump to Italy, on the occasion of the San Marino Grand Prix in Misano, possibly on September 13 and another date to be determined.

Returning to the Iberian Peninsula, the Premier Class would face a double commitment at MotorLand Aragón. Finally, Cheste would put the final touch to the contest with two rounds in November.

Races away from Europe will be reserved as a (remote) possibility for the last appointments of the MotoGP championship. Dorna is expected to be able to offer a more precise schedule in the coming days.

In this way it would be possible to save a World Cup that is going through a very delicate situation that still keeps it in the air.
