ACEA and API
These acronyms belong to two of the biggest associations of automotive manufacturers and represent the two main international regulations that define the different tests that lubricants must undergo to be declared fit for purpose. ISO 9001
The ISO 9001:2008 norm, developed by the International Organization for Standardization sets all the requisites and guidelines for quality management system and business practices which are in turn based on a cycle of continuous improvement.
